“Before I worked with Dallas, I really had no clear strategy about marketing myself as an actor. Marketing was this bizarre thing that I heard about and knew I should be doing more of, but really had no direction or help on going about it. My idea of marketing consisted of, scrambling to get 1000 postcards printed, and then sending out 500 postcards every month to every casting director in the book. This was of course unreachable so I wouldn’t do anything. My postcards would just sit on my desk because I had no direction and I was frozen with fear.
